Who We Are

In the Gospel of Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus says “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.  And, in the Gospel of John Jesus gives an additional commandment  “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Based on these commandments of Jesus we believe our primary goal is to love God, love one another, and to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ to the world.  At Alliance UMC, because we feel that there is nothing more important than our relationships, with God and one another, we are committee to living out these commandments of Jesus to love through our fellowship, prayers, worship, study, and outreach.  This Christmas season we invite you to come and experience the love of Christ and the love of our congregation.
