8 Ways to Get Involved at Alliance

1. Hang around after the worship service.

2. Check out one of our Adult Education classes

On most [days of the week] we offer [name of classes] at [time of classes]. From learning more about the Bible, to addressing questions you may have about life, death, God, what what it means to be a Christian in our community and society today. 3. Become a Greeter

A dedicated corps of parish volunteers serve as welcoming, friendly greeters to those who enter our doors. You don't need to be an expert on anything, just willing to offer a friendly smile and a helpful demeanor. 4. Help out with Children's Ministries

AUMC offers many opportunities throughout the year designed to help children see and name the love of God at work in their lives. Children's Sunday School meets every Sunday for grades K through 6. An active youth group for teens gathers [frequency.

Each week a number of dedicated members lend their time and talent to help make our worship services run smoothly. Throughout the year we host special events that celebrate the seasons and draw us together in fellowship. These events are usually multigenerational and encourage fellowship for the entire family. A busy network of committees is essential to advance the work of Alliance United Methodist Church. We have ongoing committees overseeing the work of: Archives, Newcomers, Hospitality, Outreach, Children & Youth, Finance and Audit, Investments, and Adult Education. We also have committees that form to fulfill a specific purpose, and then disband when the work is done.
