Alliance Ministries
AUMC is an open community of
Christians gathering to seek,
celebrate, live, and share the love
of God for all creation. We envision
being transformed by God and
transforming the world into a
compassionate, just, inclusive, and
Christ-like community.
In
keeping with the last words of
instruction that Jesus gave his
disciples - to read and to teach, we
encourage our members to do the
same. We have many opportunities to learn and grow
through a variety of ministries and
groups.

Children
The Children’s Council creates
meaningful activities for children
to help them connect with God and
create relationships within the
church. |
 |
Youth
The Youth Council works to create
and implement activities and events
that will engage the youth and help
them grow spiritually. |
 |
Boy
Scouts of America
The
United Methodist Church has long
been an active partner with the Boy
Scouts of America because of the
church's long-standing agreement
with the values and direction Boy
Scouts give to young men across the
country. |
 |
Adult Education
The Adult Education Committee
continually offers meaningful bible
studies and other educational
opportunities to help nurture and
grow disciples. |
 |
Witness and Membership
The Witness and Membership Committee
reaches out to the community through
various mediums and events, welcomes
visitors into the church and helps
involve new members into the life of
the church. |
 |
Worship
The Worship Committee
works closely with the Pastor to
create a worship experience that
gives the congregation an
opportunity to nurture their
relationship with God. |
 |
Communications
The Communications
Committee creates ways to
communicate who we are and the
personality of this congregation
outside the church walls. |
 |
Mission and Outreach
The Mission and Outreach Committee
seeks opportunities for both the
adults and youth of the congregation
to serve the local community and
beyond.

Nurture and Fellowship
The Nurture and Fellowship Committee
creates opportunities for the
congregation to join together as the
body of Christ in fellowship. This
group is attentive to those of
the congregation that may have
suffered a loss or have health needs
that keep them away from fellowship
with the congregation. |
