Whether you are just curious or seriously considering a new "church home,” you are very much welcome here at Alliance United Methodist Church. Most of our visitors generally want to find out what they can expect when visiting us, so we’ve developed these simple steps below to help make your visit a joyful occasion.

Take your time looking through this site to get an idea of how you or your family can connect. If you haven't yet been to Alliance, make sure to attend a worship service of your choice. You'll discover big faith, big love and big opportunities at Alliance.

Choose a Worship Service

Worship services begins at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., with some exceptions on special holidays. Each service includes a sermon and uplifting music. It's best to arrive about 10-15 minutes early.

Arrive and Get Parked

If you're visiting for the first time, you are special to us and we have reserved parking for visitors near the main entrance.

Worship Services

All services generally follow a worship guide outline which should help newcomers understand how we do things. We welcome you to bring your Bible but we do also have Bibles available as well. We also display scripture reading passages on a viewing screen where all can view.

The 8:15 and 11:00 services are more traditional in style and dress. The music is a mix of our hymnal, "old" favorites that most would be familiar with and a sprinkling of some contemporary selections.

The 9:30 a.m. service is less formal in style and dress. The music is a mix of our hymnal, contemporary selections.

Greeters are ready to answer your questions to get you where you need to go. Just look for them at the doors and in the halls. They’ll be waiting for you to arrive before worship and will be there also following the service to answer any questions you might have.

Ushers will welcome you into the Sanctuary and give you a worship guide outlining the service. They will also help you find a seat, answer questions, and give you a tour of the facilities.

Families With Children

Childcare is provided for all children ages newborn through 36 months during each of our Sunday Worship services. Visitors are welcome to go directly to the nursery for check in, which in located in the Noah’s Ark hallway at the building entrance at the SW corner (which faces Park Vista Blvd.). The nursery will provide the parents with a pager in case your child needs you during Worship Services.
