Where Tradition Meets Today
We were
created to live in relationship: relationship with God and with
others. All relationships take nurturing to grow in depth and
intensity and one way we nurture our relationships is by
participating in Worship. It is our conviction here at Alliance
that the traditions of old and the new styles of today can be
brought together in an alliance of spiritual practices that
bring depth and breadth to our worship.
Worship Services
We offer
four opportunities for Worship each week:
Sunday, 8:15am –
Traditional Worship with The Lord’s Supper offered the first
Sunday of each month.
Sunday, 9:30am –
Contemporary Worship with The Lord’s Supper offered the first
Sunday of each month.
Sunday, 11:00am –
Traditional Worship with The Lord’s Supper offered the first
Sunday of each month.
Wednesday, 6:30pm –
Casual service that offers a variety of Worship styles and
experiences with The Lord’s Supper offered the third Wednesday
each month.
The
Lord's Supper
An important aspect of worship is the sacrament of Holy
Communion. The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ and
should be a regular part of every Christian’s life.
We believe Communion is the
Lord’s Supper, not ours, and it is Christ who invites you.
Whether you should receive Communion with us is between you and
God. We offer Communion by Intinction
during the Sunday, 9:30am Service, by kneeling at the altar rail
during the Sunday, 8:15am and 11:00am Service, and by a variety
of styles during the Wednesday Night Service.
Children's Church
Children’s
Church is offered during Worship at both 8:15 am and 11:00 am.
Your child is welcome to stay and worship with you or you may
escort them to Sunday School or the Nursery then return to
Worship.
